The time has come once again for organisations to start putting together plans for dealing with the disruption that the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics is expected to bring. A survey conducted by BT has shown that 87% of private sector organisations have confirmed that they are expecting problems. The same survey also highlighted that almost one-third of organisations do not have plans to deal with the disruption that is expected. All organisations are likely to face some form of disruption whether it be problems with employees absence to watch/attend the games or employees travel chaos, the list could go on. There are many provisions that organisations could take to help reduce the amount of disruption caused, these could include flexible working, developing clear staff polices and enhancing the communication between employers and employees. The evening was a huge success and we are delighted to announce that this year we raised £3,500 for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd!!
