The CIPD's annual learning and development survey shows that leadership skills and strong commercial awareness are seen as the most important skills in meeting business objectives in the next two years. In addition the survey found that the greatest perceived changes in Leadership & Development methods over the past two years include new programmes to develop the role of managers.
